Strengthening regional climate leadership through credible, accessible digital infrastructure.
Overview
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) serves as the region’s authoritative institution on climate change, supporting governments, development partners, and communities with research, policy guidance, and implementation support.

As climate impacts intensified across the region, the Centre’s role became increasingly critical, not only as a technical authority but as a trusted public-facing institution.

However, the existing website no longer reflected the scale, credibility, or leadership of the organization. Information was difficult to navigate, key resources were buried, and the platform struggled to serve its diverse audiences effectively, from policymakers and researchers to partners and the general public.
The Strategic Challenge
The challenge was not content, but clarity and confidence. The Centre needed a digital platform that could communicate authority without alienation, complexity without confusion, and urgency without alarmism.

The website had to function as both an institutional reference point and a living resource hub for a region navigating one of the most defining challenges of its future.

At stake was trust, accessibility, and the Centre’s ability to lead at regional and international levels.
Our Approach
AlphaNorth partnered with the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre to redesign and redevelop its digital presence as a strategic institutional asset. Our role was to translate the Centre’s mandate, expertise, and regional leadership into a digital experience that reinforced credibility while improving usability and access.

We approached the platform not as a marketing site, but as public infrastructure, designed to support decision-making, education, and long-term engagement.

The Work
We led a comprehensive redesign and redevelopment of the Centre’s website, restructuring the information architecture to improve clarity, navigation, and discoverability. The new platform was designed to accommodate a wide range of users and content types, including research outputs, policy frameworks, project updates, and regional initiatives.

The experience was modernized visually while maintaining institutional seriousness, ensuring the site felt authoritative, current, and aligned with the Centre’s role as a regional leader.

The backend was rebuilt to support scalability, content management, and long-term evolution as the Centre’s work continues to expand.

Impact
The redesigned website strengthened the Centre’s digital presence as the Caribbean’s central climate authority, improving access to critical information and reinforcing trust among regional and international stakeholders.
Outcomes
1
The platform now supports clearer awareness of the Centre’s work, more effective knowledge-sharing, and stronger engagement across audiences.
2
Most importantly, it positioned the organization with a digital foundation capable of supporting its mission at the pace and scale climate leadership demands.
Advancing The Standard
Climate resilience depends not only on policy and funding, but on institutions that are visible, trusted, and accessible.

By transforming the Centre’s website into a credible piece of public infrastructure, this work helped strengthen the conditions for informed decision-making and regional coordination.
